No more smoking in restaurants
(09.16.2006) Since September 1st 2006 restaurants have to follow the new non smoking law in Spain.
Restaurants smaller than 100 m²:
If smoking is forbidden a non smoking sign has to be placed at the entrance.
Restaurants bigger than 100 m²:
The non smoking area has to be separated from the smoking area by means of a solid construction. A separate smoke extraction system is also required.
